Purpose
The purpose of this consultancy is to assist Cambodian Water Supply Association (CWA) in
(1) Provide technical training to the CWA Technical Team on technical practice aspect and report(s) writing.
(2) Reviewing technical practice aspect, and as well as improving the technical assessment report of the seven (7) Private Water Operators (PWOs).
Scope of Work (SOW)
SOW of this assignment are as following:
- Training Staff:
- In classroom training to technical team focus on technical data collection and assessment, asset valuation, and writing technical assessment report(s) to improving the PWOs’ creditworthiness showcase preparation for the financial institutions, in attractive of providing loan(s) to improve piped water services in Cambodia;
- On-site coaching to one-on-one to one (1) of the private water operator for case study;
- Training performance evaluation based on the technical assessment report produced by each participant.
- Reviewing Report:
- Reviewing and improving the PWOs’ report (s), including the (9 technical assessment reports). The consultant will spend 3 days for one technical assessment report.
- Additional works:
- Any additional works relate to the engineering design (DED), such as piped water supply system, water treatment plant, water storages, pump capacity calculation and analysis works is extra cost add on to the SOW.
Project Activities
- Preparation tools;
- Trainee’s capacity assessment;
- Develop training curriculums;
- Conduct classroom trainings;
- On site coaching;
- Review technical assessment report(s) and improvement;
- Design works if any needed.

Term of payment
The term of payment is based on contract agreement.
Timeline
The timeline for this consultancy will take place by January 2020 and the duration is based on CWA’s proposal and/or contract agreement.
[1] This budget proposal is not included any tax applied by the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC).
[2] All rates are not included any transportation nor perdiem cost as it is considered to be supported by CWA.
