Under an agreement between CWA and the East Meets West, CWA has implemented a subsidy scheme for poor families (poor families with level 1 and level 2), including vulnerable families (GESI) to access the clean water in nine (9) target provinces, including Prey Veng, Takeo, Kampot, Kampong Cham, Kampong Speu, Kampong Chhnang, Pursat, Kratie and Tbong Khmum provinces.

After organizing a meeting to promote the project to PWOs who were from 14 water facilities. As a result, 11 PWOs have applied and been selected for the project.

Currently, 922 poor households (equivalent to 4,610 people) have received contributions for the piped water connection and access to clean water.
