Water.org is a U.S. based non-governmental organization working to increase access to water supply and sanitation (WSS). Water.org has been in operation since 1990, implementing sustainable and scalable WSS programs in conjunction with local partners including Financial Institutions (FIs), NGOs, and WSS service providers.

Water.org has pioneered its WaterCredit initiative over the last several years, which works by building the capacity of carefully selected local financial institutions (FIs) to offer affordable financing for WSS facilities.

From 2018 upto now, CWA is in partnership with Water.org conducts some project activities as following:

1. 1. 1. 1. The baseline survey with the 60 members from CWA’s members with a mix size of small, medium and large size operators in June – September 2018;
      2. 2. Build the marketing staff capacity to promote pipe connection in 2018 and 2019;
      3. 3. Provide the Water Quality Training to PWOs in 2019;
      4. 4. Conduct the workshop on “Introduction to Private Operator Lending” in 2019.
